Christodoulou Philip is a research associate in Sports Biomechanics and a mentor in the Exercise, Health and Human Performance Laboratory at the Department of Life Sciences, European University Cyprus. She holds a Bachelor of Physical Education and Sport (2007) from the University of Thessaly (Greece) and a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Physical Education (2019) from the University of Nicosia (Cyprus). In a few months she will complete her 2nd degree in physiotherapy.

His research interests include muscle adaptations in exercise, laboratory and field tests for the purpose of evaluating exercisers and patients, exercise prescription in health and sport, biomechanical evaluation of sport and clinical populations (isometric, isokinetic, kinematics, kinetics, electromyography). He has also been involved in research projects on injury prevention, physical activity in children, exercise in people with chronic diseases and dual careers for athletes. He has published papers in international conferences in the areas of gait analysis, fitness, team sports, evaluation and health.

He is also an experienced basketball coach with an emphasis on youth and fitness. He works at the “Keraynos” Basketball Club in Nicosia (Cyprus). He has worked in many basketball academies, in many sports camps for children, and in “sports for all” programs in Greece and Cyprus.
