Dimitra Theoklitou is a graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2004), where she completed her Master’s degree in School Physical Education in 2009. She continued her studies at the University of Cologne (Uni zu Köln) doing a simulation at the Department of Special Education with specialization in Physical and Motor Development. She is a PhD student at the German Sport University Cologne (Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln) in the field of Exercise and Cancer.

She lived in Germany for 12 years, where she worked as a Personal Trainer, Gym Manager and Regional Gym Manager and was responsible for the development and promotion of products related to Personal Training as well as coordinating multi-member teams. Alongside her main work, she was involved in Therapeutic Gymnastics for Patients with Cancer and worked at the University Clinic of Cologne – Bonn in the Department of Exercise Training for Oncological Patients. She has also specialized in Pregnancy Exercise and Rehabilitation, Motor and Emotional Development of Infants (parent and infant classes) and is a certified Mental Resilience Trainer for adults and children up to 12 years old with the Loovanz technique.
